He helped set up our new office and we are very happy with everything he has done and we especially appreciate his service after the job was completed. EVS is reliable, professional and their stuff WORKS! Had to upgrade my wireless network at home. EVS replaced 4 Apple access points with 1 Ruckus super charged Wireless Router!! Then he integrated everything to work on my Lutron Radio Ra2 lighting system.I was streaming Sonos in my back yard this weekend while doing yard work. Did I mention he did this work DURING THE SUPERBOWL so my kids could have Netflix!?!? It's a shame New England one - EVS couldn't do anything about that. My recommendation is you call EVS for a quote on any of your AV/WIFI/Lighting requirements.
Jeff was brought in by our home warranty company through Dependable Renovations to help fix our lighting system after things went horribly wrong with builder. Long and terrible story...way more than just the lighting. Jeff came in and corrected our Lutron system and has made some very good recommendations on how to work with what we have, which is less than what we paid the builder for, and how to improve the system. Jeff came during his off hours because he did want us to wait any longer (2 years of builder neglect) which we really appreciate. He is very knowledgeable and considerate of our situation. My basement has all the attributes of a bomb shelter and the WiFi Shaw installed was barely reaching 40 to 50 mbps. Jeff came in, diagnosed the problem, and put the proper equipment in place to correct the issue. Now seeing speeds of 250 +. Dependable, trustworthy, committed to customer service. And they sell Lutron products. Great company.
Jeff and EVS are one of the companies that I recommend without thinking twice and for any job! They excel in about everything they do! I build a house and add another company for wired my entire house (network, audio and video), although the experience was far from great! When they come and start the process of building my home automation, it’s where I start to get excited and confident about the end result. I have to confess, that I’m an extremely detailed and sometimes my demands are a bit high, and surprise (or not), Jeff always exceed my demands and expectations. When Jeff can’t deliver, it’s because it’s impossible, but he will come always with an alternative. My project starts with one of the most peculiars mechanical rooms in the world, small (7”x10”) with everything you can imagine (triple zone furnace, AC, 75G Water Tank, Water softener) and Jeff was able to fit a 48U rack and a network rack. The level of professionalism, dedication on the work is behind what anyone can expect from any company! The attention to detail is out of this world! I have total trust on Jeff and EVS. I throw some very curve ball to Jeff, and he always performed. After a few stages, I have my home better than a show home, Thanks to EVS. I cannot recommend enough EVS services. Five starts it's not enough! I’m glad that I was recommend to EVS. Stop looking, you just found EVS, it's what you are looking for!
I've made two audio equipment purchases from Jeff and EVS in the last 4 years. EVS is the only sales representative for this vendor in Calgary. The first time in 2015 was easy: I ordered the items from Jeff, he contacted the vendor, they shipped the items to EVS and we met a week or so later to exchange $ and I took home the equipment. Including shipping, GST and the EVS commission, the cost was nearly 29% less than the vendor's price without shipping on their website, which was awesome. Everything worked great and I was very happy with my purchase. This year, I decided to add to my existing investment from the same vendor and approached Jeff again at the beginning of 2019. The vendor was going through some changes and one of the items I wanted was being redesigned, so I had to wait for them to be manufactured. Finally at the end of July, they were ready to ship. I placed the order and they arrived within a week or so, again costing about 17% less than the vendor's website price without shipping. Unfortunately, things didn't go quite so smoothly this time. One of the new items had a manufacturing defect and I needed to exchange it. The vendor was very responsive and I had the new item within a week. I now have everything set up and it's working great. Jeff was very helpful and attentive in dealing with me and the vendor. It was a pleasure to have him there to assist me in getting the issue resolved quickly, resulting in a very satisfied repeat customer. Thanks again!
